This Privacy Policy describes how Padelpalooza, Inc., a Delaware corporation (“Padelpalooza,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, shares, and protects information about you when you access or use the Courtr platform, available at https://courtr.io, including any related websites, applications, and services (collectively, the “Platform”). “Courtr” is the brand name under which we operate the Platform.

We are committed to being transparent about our data practices. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using the Platform, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

This Privacy Policy applies to two categories of users: (1) Operators and Organizers — racquet sport clubs, venues, operators, and tournament organizers who subscribe to the Platform for business purposes (“Operators”); and (2) Players — individuals who create free accounts to participate in matchmaking, leaderboards, community features, and other player-facing functionality (“Players”). We refer to both groups collectively as “Users” or “you.”

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect different types of information depending on whether you are an Operator or a Player, and depending on how you interact with the Platform.

(a) Information Collected from Operators. When an organization or individual registers as an Operator, we collect:

• Business and organization details, including club name, legal name, type of facility, and sport categories offered.

• Contact information, including the name, email address, phone number, and title of the primary account holder and authorized personnel.

• Court utilization data, booking records, scheduling information, and operational analytics generated through use of the Platform’s management tools.

• Member data that Operators upload or import into the Platform in connection with their membership management features (e.g., member names, contact details, and membership status). Operators are responsible for ensuring they have the right to share this information with us.

• Payment and billing information necessary to process subscription fees. Payment card details are handled by our third-party payment processors; we do not store full card numbers on our systems.

• Tournament and event data, including participant rosters, draw sheets, results, and scheduling details.

(b) Information Collected from Players. When an individual registers as a Player, we collect:

• Account information, including your name, email address, username, and password.

• Profile information, including your skill level, ratings, preferred sports, playing style, profile photo (if provided), and other details you choose to share.

• Match and game history, including results, statistics, and performance data.

• Location information, such as your city or region, to facilitate matchmaking, club discovery, and leaderboards. We collect general location at signup and may use more precise location only with your explicit consent.

• Availability and scheduling preferences you set within the Platform.

• Community content, including posts, comments, messages, group memberships, and challenge activity you create or participate in on the Platform.

• Leaderboard statistics and rankings.

• Device and usage data collected automatically when you access the Platform (see Section 6 — Cookies and Tracking Technologies).

(c) Information You Provide Voluntarily. You may also provide information to us when you contact our support team, respond to surveys, or communicate with us in any other way.

(d) Information We Do Not Collect. We do not collect sensitive personal information such as government identification numbers, financial account numbers (beyond what is necessary for billing via our payment processors), or health information, unless you specifically provide such information voluntarily. We encourage you not to submit sensitive information that is not required.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

(a) To provide and operate the Platform. This includes creating and managing your account, enabling core features such as court booking, matchmaking, leaderboards, tournament management, and community tools, and processing payments for Operator subscriptions.

(b) To improve and develop the Platform. We analyze usage patterns and feedback — using only first-party data we collect directly — to understand how the Platform is used, identify areas for improvement, and develop new features.

(c) To communicate with you. We send transactional communications such as account confirmations, password resets, booking confirmations, and service updates. We also send marketing and promotional emails to users who have opted in to receive them (see Section 8 — Marketing Communications).

(d) To ensure safety and security. We use information to detect and prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and other harmful activity, and to enforce our Terms of Service.

(e) To support Operators. We use Operator data to provide club management analytics, generate reports, and support the business functions Operators rely on the Platform to perform.

(f) To facilitate player matching and community features. We use Player profile data, skill ratings, location, and availability to suggest matches, rank leaderboards, populate community feeds, and enable group and challenge functionality.

(g) To comply with legal obligations. We may process your information as necessary to comply with applicable law, respond to legal process, and protect the rights, property, or safety of Padelpalooza, our Users, or others.

3. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share your information only in the limited circumstances described below. We share your match and profile data with Rating and Data Partners only if you affirmatively turn on Rating-Partner sharing (see Section 3(f)); it is off unless and until you enable it.

(a) Service providers. We share information with trusted third-party vendors who help us operate the Platform. These include our cloud hosting providers (third-party cloud infrastructure providers, both US-based), email delivery services (third-party email service providers), and third-party payment processors. These providers are authorized to use your information only as necessary to perform services on our behalf and are bound by confidentiality obligations.

(b) Operators and Players — mutual visibility. Certain Player information (such as username, skill rating, and match history) may be visible to Operators whose clubs or tournaments a Player participates in, and vice versa, to the extent necessary to support the Platform’s functionality. Community content you post (such as feed posts and group activity) may be visible to other Users as determined by your privacy settings.

(c) Business transfers. If Padelpalooza is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email or a prominent notice on the Platform before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

(d) Legal requirements. We may disclose your information if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to (i) comply with a legal obligation, court order, or governmental request; (ii) protect the rights, property, or safety of Padelpalooza, our Users, or the public; or (iii) detect or prevent fraud or security issues.

(e) With your consent. We may share your information for any other purpose with your explicit consent.

(f) Integration Partners You Connect (opt-in only). Courtr offers optional integrations with third-party partners — for example, player-rating and ranking providers such as World Padel Rating, and other services we add under our integrations program over time. These integrations are off by default. Sharing occurs only if you affirmatively connect your account to a given partner (typically by logging in to that partner through Courtr and authorizing the connection). When you connect a partner, you authorize us to share the data relevant to that integration — such as your match results, player profile, and rating-relevant data — with that partner so it can provide the connected feature (for example, an official rating). Each Integration Partner acts as an independent controller and may use the shared data for its own rating, ranking, analytics, and commercial purposes under its own terms and privacy policy. You may disconnect any Integration Partner at any time in your profile settings; disconnecting stops all future sharing, though data already shared remains subject to that partner's terms and applicable law. Integration Partner sharing is not available to users under 18.

4. DATA STORAGE AND RETENTION

(a) Storage location and international transfers. We store personal data in the United States on servers operated by third-party cloud infrastructure providers. If you enable Rating-Partner sharing, your data may also be transferred to Rating Partners located outside your country, including in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area (EEA). Where we transfer the personal data of EEA or UK users internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. You may request a copy of the relevant safeguards by contacting us at privacy@courtr.io.

(b) Retention while active. We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter, to allow for account reactivation, to resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and comply with legal obligations.

(c) Retention after deletion. When you delete your account or request deletion of your data (see Section 7 — Your Rights and Choices), we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable timeframe, except where we are required or permitted by law to retain it longer (for example, for tax, legal compliance, or fraud prevention purposes).

(d) Operator member data. Data that Operators upload about their members is retained as long as the Operator’s account is active. Upon account termination, we will delete such data in accordance with our data processing agreement with the Operator.

5. SECURITY

(a) Our commitment. We implement industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

(b) No absolute guarantee. No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to use commercially reasonable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

(c) Your responsibilities. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Please notify us immediately at privacy@courtr.io if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

(d) Data breach notification. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you and any applicable regulatory authorities as required by applicable law, in the manner and within the timeframe required.

6. COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

(a) Cookies we use. The Platform uses session cookies and other essential cookies necessary for the Platform to function properly. These cookies allow you to log in, navigate the Platform, and maintain your session. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser or log out.

(b) Analytics. We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics provided by our hosting and infrastructure provider (Vercel) — including aggregate traffic and page-performance (speed) measurement — to understand how the Platform is used and improve its reliability. These analytics do not set advertising cookies, do not track you across other websites or apps, and are never used for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use third-party advertising networks or ad-tech trackers.

(c) Essential cookies only. Because we use only essential session cookies, your use of the Platform does not trigger third-party cookie consent requirements. However, most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Please note that blocking essential cookies may impair your ability to use the Platform.

7. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES

Regardless of where you are located, we offer all Users the following rights with respect to their personal information:

(a) Access. You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.

(b) Correction. You may request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information. Many corrections can be made directly through your account settings.

(c) Deletion. You may request that we delete your personal information. We will honor deletion requests subject to our legal obligations to retain certain data and our legitimate interest in maintaining records necessary for dispute resolution and legal compliance. Deleting your account will remove your profile and associated data within a reasonable timeframe.

(d) Opt-out of marketing. You may opt out of receiving promotional email communications at any time by clicking “unsubscribe” in any marketing email or by contacting us at privacy@courtr.io. You will continue to receive transactional communications related to your account even if you opt out of marketing.

(e) Data portability. You may request that we provide your personal information in a commonly used, machine-readable format, where technically feasible.

(f) How to exercise your rights. To exercise any of the rights above, please contact us at privacy@courtr.io. We will respond to verified requests within 30 days, or within the timeframe required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request.

8. MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS

(a) Opt-in basis. We send promotional and marketing emails only to Users who have explicitly opted in to receive them, either during account registration or through their account settings.

(b) Unsubscribe. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link in any marketing email or by emailing privacy@courtr.io. Unsubscribe requests will be processed promptly, and in any event within 10 business days.

(c) Transactional messages. Opting out of marketing does not affect transactional communications, such as account confirmations, booking notifications, password resets, and security alerts, which are necessary for the operation of your account.

9. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

(a) Age requirements. Players must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. Operators must be at least 18 years of age. We use an age gate at signup to help enforce this requirement.

(b) Not directed at children under 13. The Platform is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Our practices are intended to comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”).

(c) If we learn of under-age data. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent as required by COPPA, we will delete that information promptly. If you believe we may have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately at privacy@courtr.io.

(d) Players aged 13–17. Player accounts are available to users aged 13 and older. Rating-Partner sharing is not available to users under 18, and we do not knowingly share the personal information of any user under 18 with Rating Partners.

10. THIRD-PARTY LINKS

(a) External websites. The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, applications, or services that we do not control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party services, and we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

(b) Your responsibility. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access through links on our Platform before providing them with personal information.

11. CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS — ADDITIONAL RIGHTS (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 and the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (collectively, “CCPA/CPRA”). This section supplements the rest of this Privacy Policy and applies solely to California residents.

(a) Categories of personal information collected. In the preceding 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information as defined by CCPA/CPRA: (i) Identifiers, such as name, email address, and username; (ii) Commercial information, such as billing and subscription records for Operators; (iii) Internet or other electronic network activity information, such as Platform usage data; (iv) Geolocation data (general location); and (v) Inferences drawn from the above to create user profiles, such as skill ratings and matchmaking preferences.

(b) Right to know. You have the right to request that we disclose: the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you; the categories of sources from which we collected it; our business purpose for collecting it; and the categories of third parties with whom we have shared it.

(c) Right to delete. You have the right to request that we delete personal information we collected from you, subject to certain exceptions permitted by law (e.g., to complete a transaction, detect security incidents, comply with a legal obligation, or exercise free speech).

(d) Right to correct. You have the right to request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.

(e) Right to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose your match and profile data to an Integration Partner only if you affirmatively connect that partner to your account, and you may withdraw that authorization at any time by disconnecting the partner in your profile settings. Because this disclosure occurs only if you choose to enable it, it does not happen unless and until you opt in; disconnecting stops future disclosure. For users under 18, we do not enable Integration Partner sharing at all. As an additional safeguard, you may exercise a “Do Not Sell or Share” right at any time through the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in our website footer or by contacting us at privacy@courtr.io, and we honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals.

(f) Right to limit use of sensitive personal information. We do not use sensitive personal information (as defined by CCPA/CPRA) beyond what is reasonably necessary to provide the Platform’s services.

(g) Right to non-discrimination. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA/CPRA rights. We will not deny you services, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of service because you exercised a privacy right.

(h) Authorized agents. You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may require the agent to provide proof of written authorization and may also require you to verify your identity directly with us.

(i) How to submit a California request. To exercise your California privacy rights, please contact us at privacy@courtr.io with the subject line “California Privacy Request.” We will verify your identity before processing your request and will respond within 45 calendar days, with one possible 45-day extension if reasonably necessary.

12. EEA AND UK RESIDENTS — ADDITIONAL RIGHTS (GDPR / UK GDPR)

If you are located in the EEA or the UK, we process your personal data on these legal bases: (i) performance of our contract with you, to provide the Platform; (ii) your consent, which is the basis for Rating-Partner sharing and which you may withdraw at any time without affecting prior processing; and (iii) our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Platform, where not overridden by your rights. You have the rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, and port your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office). To exercise any right, contact us at privacy@courtr.io.

13. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

(a) Right to update. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors.

(b) Notification. When we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you by sending an email to the address associated with your account and/or by posting a prominent notice on the Platform. The updated policy will indicate the new effective date at the top of the document.

(c) Continued use. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of an updated Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the updated policy, you should discontinue use of the Platform and may request deletion of your account.

14. GOVERNING LAW

This Privacy Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with this Privacy Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in the State of Delaware.
